Moze Cowper and Cowper Law LLP Lead Fight Against Allergan in Textured Breast Implant Litigation

Moze Cowper of Cowper Law LLP has been named as one of three lead attorneys in the coordinated litigation in Los Angeles involving Allergan Textured Breast Implants.  The litigation has been consolidated into a Judicial Council Coordinated Proceeding (“JCCP”) before Judge Hogue.

On July 24, 2019, the FDA issued a voluntary global recall of Natrelle BIOCELL Textured Breast Implants and Tissue Expanders to protect individuals from the increased risk of a rare type of cancer: breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (or ALCL). 

Cowper Law LLP was one of the first law firms in the country to file a case alleging that a number of their clients developed ALCL after being implanted with Allergan Textured Breast implants.  These cases are now coordinated in both New Jersey federal court, New Jersey State Court, and California.  Mr. Cowper also sits on the Plaintiff Steering Committee in New Jersey before Judge Martinotti.
