DocSolid Expands Leadership Team with IG and Records Expert, Cadis Stuart-Hodges, IGP CRM, as Senior Director of Services
Former Director of Records for Drew Eckl & Farnham to manage Airmail2 implementations
PHOENIX, AZ – (April 11, 2021) – DocSolid, the legal technology experts for enterprise scanning, workflow and paper reduction solutions, today welcomes Cadis Stuart-Hodges, IGP CRM, as Senior Director of Services, a new role for the company that will add substantial value to clients’ information governance and records management best practices as part of their Airmail2 Digital Mailroom and Digital Records Room implementations. Cadis is a certified records management and information governance professional and previous Director of Records for Drew Eckl & Farnham. She will oversee DocSolid’s Consulting and Professional Services and manage implementations of Airmail2 for the company.
As cyber threats increase and privacy regulations multiply, clients are ramping up their auditing of outside counsel for compliance, holding their law firms to the highest possible standards of governance, privacy and security. Given the new operations supporting the hybrid workplace, such standards must now apply to a firm’s digital mailroom.
Digitized mail often includes sensitive client information, launches new work, and triggers calendared response obligations. This means matter centric record creation is starting right from mail delivery and needs to be a part of firms’ Information Governance responsibility.
Cadis says: “I am thrilled to be joining DocSolid at this exciting time. Digital mail is a key ingestion point of client data, and as such must be managed in a fully compliant and auditable end-to-end governance regime. Airmail2 seamlessly supports firms’ information governance requirements and provides a definitive digital record with efficient delivery to the document management system.”
The Airmail2 Digital Mailroom sets the industry standard for efficient, secure, governed delivery of digital mail. Airmail2 simultaneously satisfies best practice requirements of all key stakeholders who touch law firms’ digital mail: attorneys’ needs for productivity, CISO’s needs for security, and IG and records professionals’ needs for governance and compliance because Airmail2 provides delivery of inbound mail directly to firms’ document management systems.
“Firms will struggle with client audits if they’re still using the same makeshift scanning mailroom they spun up in the early days the pandemic,” said Steve Irons, President, DocSolid. “Scanning PDF attachments to email creates unmanaged copies of client information across email system inboxes and then at local desktops. Governance and security for this client information is compromised. Cadis will lead DocSolid’s services team as we design and implement best practice mailrooms for our customers.”
Airmail2 Digital Mailroom is built from the ground-up for the new hybrid law firm workforce, designed specifically for the new security, governance and productivity requirements of hybrid operations, and features:
- Efficient, best practice design for mailroom operations and legal mail recipients.
- Certified DMS integrations for iManage and NetDocuments, adaptable to specialized client configurations
- Quality controls for comprehensive QC workflows to ensure confident shredding and disposition
- Administrative and monitoring tools – help desk, dashboard, audits, reporting
- Stable deployment – enterprise-class server and security regimes, Web-based clients and universal scan device support
